Great location with stunning views. Ideal for exploring the area. Very cozy with a log burner for cold nights. Nearby shop for convenience. Enjoyed the dining area in the kitchen and the warmth of the wood burner in the sitting room.
Some maintenance issues, such as a noisy tap and a broken part in the shower. Limited seating in the living room for a larger group.

the location was ideal, offering a peaceful setting yet within driving distance of various attractions and dining options. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find the property warm and cozy, thanks to the heating already being on. the log burner added to the welcoming atmosphere, and we enjoyed a fun game of Monopoly with the kids. the beds were incredibly comfortable, with crisp white sheets providing a touch of luxury. the property had everything we needed, and our host Danny was excellent. We can't wait to visit again in the future. Cons: Nothing. All was good. 👍.

We stayed at Gwynfryn Villa for a week and it was perfect for our family of four. The house was spacious with 3 beds and 2 reception rooms, providing plenty of room for all of us. The hot water lasted for all showers, which was essential after our hikes. We loved the wood burner, which greeted us with warmth in the evenings, and the well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook meals every day. The thoughtful touch of milk in the fridge and cookies waiting for us was a warm welcome. The location was central to all the amazing places we visited in North Wales, including Portmeirion, Snowdon, and Beaumaris Castle. We'll definitely be back!
Would recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to a local shop and a short drive to beautiful natural spots. The owner, Danny, was always available to answer any questions and even dropped off some wood for the fire. We loved the comfortable sofa and TV for chilling out, and the tastefully decorated bedrooms provided a peaceful night's sleep.
The breakfast option could be improved with more variety.

We had a great stay at this lovely cottage in North Wales. The location was ideal, with easy access to stunning places like Portmeirion and Snowdon. The spacious bedrooms were comfortable, and we appreciated the hot water for showering after a long day of hiking. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook meals, and we were pleasantly surprised to find milk and cookies waiting for us upon arrival. The wood burner provided a cozy welcome, and there was plenty of fuel stored in the shed. We will definitely be back to explore more of North Wales.
While the house had everything we needed, the outdoor space in the back was a bit limited.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Gwynfryn. The location was fantastic, with Snowdonia right on our doorstep. The house itself was cozy and quiet, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The wood burner was a wonderful touch, keeping us warm in the evenings. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to cook meals easily. As for the communication with the owner, it was smooth and easy. we had a great experience and would recommend this property to others.
Our only minor issues were the lack of furniture/storage in the bedrooms and the uncomfortable double bed. It would have been nice to have more storage space and a king-size bed with a better mattress.

We had a pleasant experience during our New Year stay. The cottage had a lovely mix of old and new features, creating a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals easily. The location was ideal for exploring North Wales, with plenty of leaflets available for local activities. the owner left a thoughtful welcome package of milk and biscuits, which was greatly appreciated.
There were a few aspects that could have been improved. Some window handles were broken, leading to a draughty room.

I had a fantastic stay at Gwynfryn Villa. The location was excellent, with a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The cottage itself was super comfy, and the bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get up in the morning. The instructions provided were clear, making it easy to settle in. I also loved that the local shop wasn't overpriced. The owner, Danny, was extremely accommodating, rearranging and extending our stay despite several cancellations. it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely book here again if I return to Wales.
Although my stay was great, there were a couple of drawbacks. the cleaning could have been better, especially since we had a baby with us.
